Register, change andderegister online
No appointment at the trade office. You answer a few questions and sign on your phone. We fill in the official form and submit it to the responsible office.
What we take care of for you
Fixed price for our service. We show you your trade office's fee before you enter anything. The office sends you the fee notice.
All prices incl. 19% VAT. The trade office's fee is set by your municipality's bylaws and is billed to you directly by the office.
For every legal form
The questions adapt to you. For a GbR we create a separate notification for each partner, and everyone signs via a link on their own phone.

Is GEWA24 a public authority?
No. GEWA24 is a private service of doubleudot UG. We fill in the official trade notification on your behalf and submit it to the responsible trade office.
I'm a freelancer. Do I need this?
No. Freelance professions don't register a business, only with the tax office. We clarify this in the first question, before any costs arise.
I'm moving my company to another town.
One order is enough. We deregister you at the old location, register you at the new one and send both notifications to the respective offices.
When will I get my trade licence?
The office confirms the notification with an acknowledgement of receipt, usually by post. How long that takes depends on the office. The office sends the confirmation and the fee notice directly to you.
Who else finds out about my registration?
The trade office forwards the notification to the tax office and the chamber of commerce (IHK) or chamber of crafts, among others. The tax office will then send you the tax registration questionnaire.
